Company Overview

Mick’s Munchies is about new opportunities and new beginnings. The company founder, Michael “Mick” Cochran, decided to take tough economic times and turn them into his life long dream of becoming an entrepreneur and running his own business.

Like many people at the end of 2008 and the beginning of 2009, Michael (Mick) became unemployed due to company downsizing. Being the optimistic and creative person that he is, he decided this would be the perfect chance to make a career change after being in the printing business for over 20 years. His entrepreneurial spirit and his passion for cooking mixed with some bad consumer experiences from other canteen trucks in the past gave Mick the confidence that he could do well in this industry.

At Mick’s Munchies, our goal is simple: We strive to put the customer’s needs, desires and concerns as our top priority while providing quality food at a great price and promoting a culture of cleanliness – You have Mick’s word on it!

Who is Mick? This Is Mick!

Michael “Mick” Cochran is a native New Englander; born in Central Falls, Rhode Island to Yvonne and Gilbert Cochran. Mick is the youngest of four children and has two brothers and one sister.

Mick worked in the printing industry for 25 years before tough economic times gave him a new start as an entrepreneur in the form of opening Mick’s Munchies.

Mick enjoys a variety of hobbies and interests including: making hard ciders, fishing, movies, camping, cooking, and spending time with his family.
